Nexus S Coming To Canada Beginning On April 7th, With Pricing As Low As $99.99 On A Three-Year Agrement With Rogers

We are still waiting for Sprint to release the Nexus S here in the US, and although it was rumored to come available today, things are still pointing towards the pre-order page on the Sprint website. But with that, maybe Sprint will end up launching the handset as of tomorrow along with several Canadian carriers.

Yup, while Sprint has been quite, we have gotten word from Rogers, Telus and Mobilicity and it looks like they are all planning to have the Nexus S available for purchase as of tomorrow April 7th.

As for pricing, the off-contract price is fairly similar across all three carriers, but those looking to pay the least will want to check out Rogers. That said, first up with pricing is Mobilicity (and keep in mind this is a contract free price — $499.99.

Next up is Telus who will have the Nexus S available for $179.99 on a three year agreement. Other Telus pricing includes $449.99, $499.99 and $549.99 for two-years, one-year and contract free respectively.

Moving on and we come to the lowest priced — Rogers. They are going to have the handset available on a three year agreement for $99.99. In addition, other Rogers pricing is $399.99, $449.99, $499.99 for a two-year, one-year or contract free agreement.

Otherwise, we also know that Bell, Fido, Wind, Videotron and Koodo Mobile (just about all Canadian carriers) will be offering the Nexus S, though at this time we are still waiting for more information regarding their release dates and prices. Of course, given the confirmed launch with Telus, Mobilicity and Rogers, it seems likely to believe that the others will be following soon — if not the same day.

And lastly, for anyone that may have missed the specs in our previous coverage, the Nexus S features a 4 inch Super AMOLED display, 1GHz Samsung processor,512M RAM, 16GB internal storage, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 3.5mm headphone jack and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Plus you can also expect to find a rear facing 5 megapixel camera with flash, front facing VGA camera, Near Field Communication (NFC), 1500 mAh battery and measurements of 4.88 x 2.48 x 0.44 inches.
